1. Scope and coaching boundary

This policy covers information collected through BelieveInYourTruthCoaching.com, Believe In Your Truth Coaching pages hosted on Systeme.io, coaching-resource forms and related email communications.

These pages and resources are for coaching and educational purposes. They are separate from Believe Counseling Services and are not a counseling client portal. Please do not submit medical records, diagnoses, therapy notes or other confidential clinical information through the coaching opt-in forms or by replying to automated coaching emails.

2. Information we collect

We may collect the following information:

• Information you provide: your first name, email address and any information you voluntarily include when you contact us, request a resource or schedule a coaching conversation.
• Subscription information: the date and source of your sign-up, the resources you requested, email delivery status and whether you opened or clicked an email.
• Technical information: IP address, browser and device type, operating system, referring page, pages visited and similar usage information collected by the website platform and its cookies.
• Coaching-client information: if you later purchase or receive coaching services, we may collect contact, scheduling, payment and service information needed to provide those services.

3. How we use information

We use information to:

• Deliver the free tools or information you requested.
• Send related coaching emails, practical resources and information about relevant coaching services.
• Respond to questions and requests.
• Schedule and provide coaching conversations or services.
• Operate, maintain, protect and improve the website and email experience.
• Maintain business, tax, security and legal records.
• Prevent misuse, fraud or activity that may threaten the security of the services.

4. Email communications

When you request a free resource, we use your email address to deliver it and may send closely related coaching information. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time by using the unsubscribe link in an email. We may still send non-marketing messages that are necessary to respond to a request or provide a service you requested.

5. Cookies and website analytics

The website platform may use cookies and similar technologies to keep pages working, remember preferences, measure website and email activity and help protect the services. You can adjust your browser to refuse or delete cookies, although some features may not work correctly afterward.

The site may not respond to every browser “Do Not Track” signal because there is no single industry standard for those signals. Where applicable law requires and the website technology supports it, recognized privacy choices will be honored.

6. How information may be shared

We do not sell or rent personal information. We may disclose information only as reasonably needed to operate the coaching business, including to:

• Service providers: companies that provide website hosting, email delivery, scheduling, file and video delivery, payment processing, analytics, security or technical support. The current funnel uses Systeme.io, and linked or embedded resources may use Google services.
• Professional advisers: accountants, attorneys, insurers or other advisers when reasonably necessary.
• Legal and safety recipients: authorities or other parties when disclosure is required by law or reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, security or prevent fraud.
• Business successors: a buyer or successor in connection with a merger, reorganization, sale or transfer of the coaching business, subject to appropriate privacy protections.

We do not use information submitted through the free-resource form for the sale of personal information or cross-context behavioral advertising.

7. Data retention and security

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the requested resources and services, maintain business and legal records, resolve disputes and enforce agreements. Retention periods vary based on the type of information and why it was collected.

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards appropriate to the information we maintain. No website, email or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure, so please avoid sending sensitive information through ordinary web forms or email.

8. Service providers and international processing

Some service providers may process or store information outside your state or country. Systeme.io states that its platform data is hosted using Amazon Web Services in Ireland. When you use a linked Google resource, Google may process technical information under its own privacy terms.

9. Your privacy choices

You may ask to access, correct or delete personal information we maintain about you, or withdraw from marketing emails. Depending on where you live and which privacy law applies, you may also have rights to obtain a portable copy of your information or to opt out of certain uses.

To make a request, email tessa@believeinyourtruthcoaching.com. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request. We will not discriminate against you for exercising an applicable privacy right.

10. Children’s privacy

The coaching website and free resources are intended for adults and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through these pages. If you believe a child has submitted information, please contact us so it can be reviewed and deleted as appropriate.

11. Third-party links

The website and emails may link to services or websites operated by others. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, and we encourage you to review them before providing information.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when our services, technology or legal obligations change. The “Last updated” date will identify the current version. If a change materially affects how previously collected information is used, we will provide additional notice or obtain consent when required.
